Learning to Win

I've been gambling since Christ was an altar boy and know everything there is to know about gambling.
I have the Big 4:

(1) BANKROLL

Not colossal, but strong enough to compete at many betting levels.

(2) KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME

I've written 9 books on gambling and have tons of systems on every game.

(3) MONEY MANAGEMENT

There is no mystery to what each bet will be for me after a win or a loss. I know to the nickel how to handle my money.

(4) DISCIPLINE

Give me a profit on any given day and I'll make sure I finish with more money than I started with, and my Loss Limits are fractions of my starting
Bankroll.

In other words, I have all facets of the Big 4. Then we swing to the Little 3:

(1) THEORY

I've developed strong opinions and methods on every type of gambling event and have been grinding out small profits for years.

(2) LOGIC

I accept small wins and hold losses to the bone, betting only when I feel there is an edge in my choices.

(3) TRENDS

I'm constantly on the look out for these streaks that occur and make them pay for me.

OK. You've heard my story. I have everything needed to enter the world of sports betting. I'm a per¬fect player. What are my chances of winning when that lame starts?? 50 50!!!

Did you hear that? 50 50. That's all the chance I’ve got. I don't have any edge at all in that encounter. All the Knowledge, all the Trends, all the money don't give me one blessed foot up on coming out with a win. And I have said that before.

So when someone tells you that they have secret information on a game, they've been smoking some powerful stuff. There ain't no secret formulas and my having he Big 4 and Little 3 is merely used to cut my losses and protect me from making dumb decisions most of the time.
Do I make bad decisions? Is the Pope Catholic? Of course I make mistakes and usually they cost me.

But the things I want to make you aware of will be geared to cutting your losses so that when a streak Joes occur, you'll know when and how to handle it.

And the profits you gain won't be used to merely pay off back debts to Two Ton Tony, your friendly bookie.
I'm a great player and my chances of winning are 50 50. READ THAT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN...
